Here is the option to rent the ground level or the top level. Both are fully enclosed and private, have their own full kitchens, living rooms, and entertainment centers. Below you will see what is included for each of the levels. Of course, you get all of it when you rent the entire Villa.

Villa Hermosa del Mar I (Ground Level)

This brand new Mexican Villa sleeps 8 in beds, 6 in sofa sleepers and comes fully furnished with the following:

  1. Each bedroom suite has an Eastern king bed, private bath and a new sofa sleeper. Two queen beds are located in the 3rd bedroom along with a sofa sleeper: All beds are brand new pillowtop mattresses. All sofa sleepers have innerspring mattresses-very comfortable
  2. All pillows, bedding & kitchen linens/towels
  3. Great room 24 x 33’ w/ tables/chairs to seat 12, entertainment center w/ TV, Dish Network, DVD player & lots of new games.
  4. Fully equipped Kitchen with all new dishes, silverware, pan sets, pyrex serving dishes, baking pans, crock pot, electric skillet, waffle iron, food processor, blender, toaster/oven, coffee maker, microwave, gas oven/range and refrigerator. We also have spices, flour, sugar (brown, white and powdered), oil, shortening for your use in case you are in the mood to really cook!
  5. Bottled water in a dispenser is available for your use. 5 gallon refills may be obtained for 90 cents.
  6. Telephone, furniture and rugs, common area washer & dryer along w/ iron, etc.
  7. Ceiling fans, Air Conditioning and Heat.
  8. Patio furniture to seat 6 people & 1 flagstone tiled table.
  9. Built-in Gas BBQ grill and outdoor sink. Exterior tiled shower.
  10. Paper towels 1/day, toilet paper1/day/bath & garbage bags, are included.
  11. Five beach lounge chairs, two beach umbrella and some beach toys.
  12. Two floor mats for the Floor Sleepers (for mostly children and young adults). Be sure to bring pillowcases, sleeping bags and/or blankets for the floor sleepers.
  13. A Home Book is located in the great room. It has a phone directory & lots of info.
  14. Two Sea Kayaks are available for rent at this location for half price of the in-town rentals.

Villa Hermosa del Mar II (Top Level)

This new Mexican Villa with brick boveda ceilings sleeps 12 & comes fully furnished with the following:

  1. Great room 25 x 35’ w/ tables/chairs to seat 12, Leather sofas, 52" High definition TV & entertainment center w/ Dish Network Satellite, DVD player, fireplace & lots of new games.
  2. The 2 beachside master bedrooms have California king beds. The 3rd bedroom has a king bed and trundle with 2 twins. All of the first 3 bedrooms have a private bathroom. 2 queen beds are located in the 4th bedroom with a hall bath next to it. All bedrooms have brand new pillowtop mattresses. All 4 bathrooms have copper sinks and are exquisitely tiled.
  3. All new pillows, bedding & kitchen linens/towels.
  4. All furniture and rugs, common area washer & dryer along w/ iron, etc.
  5. Fully equipped Kitchen with all new dishes, silverware, pan sets, pyrex serving dishes, baking pans, crock pot, electric skillet, waffle iron, food processor/chopper, Kitchenaid blender, toaster/oven, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, gas oven/range and refrigerator. We also have spices, flour, sugar (brown, white and powdered), oil, shortening for your use in case you are in the mood to really cook!

Suggestions on What to Bring

  1. Beach towels, swim suit, boogie board, shade canopy & sunscreen, bath towels
  2. Paper plates, cups, bowls, napkins & utensils if you don’t want to do dishes, laundry soap
  3. Snorkel and Mask, water socks, or an old pair of tennis shoes to explore tide pools or the Estuary
  4. DVD’s or Videos that you may want to watch.
  5. We have plenty of pillows and 2 sleeping pads but you can bring pillowcases, blankets or sleeping bags for floor sleepers.
  6. Clothes and Personal Care Items such as soap shampoo & conditioner, etc.
  7. Don’t forget the required Auto insurance while traveling in Mexico
  8. A camara with lots of film or available memory! (This tends to be the number one thing that people regret not bringing more of.)

There are a lot of good restaurants in Rocky Point. There is an abundance of shrimp and fresh seafood at reasonable prices. You may want to plan your meals around it. You will also be able to purchase tamales, burritos and tortillas from beach vendors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You may consider a 2-hour Sunset Dinner Cruise on the Intrepid for $45. or just the Cruise for $35. Reservations: 383-7572.
